Testing it Now !!!

Here is a mini review with my first impresions of the game:

I'm going to start with the game control, many are speculating about it... finally I tested it and can talk about it, practically you can configure anything, you can chose pre adjustments or custom configurations, touch or acelerometers, with many assistants if you want... really this game has the better customization than any racer game at the time, with this game you can feel that you a really driving the car.

You have 3 game modes: Career, Arcade and multiplayer.

Career mode: In this mode you can be the best driver on the world. There are many things that you need to do before yo start to race...

- First you need a driver license: to get one you need to pass the driver tests.
- When you get your driver license now you can buy a car, but only cars ad-hoc your license (and the money that you have).... in the future (when you be a better driver) you can get better licenses to driver better cars.
- If you want you can tune your car
- You can test your car in the unlocked test tracks if you want
- Now you're ready to start the races:

+ there are 4 modes:
- GT Championship: Compete in many tracks to be the champion
- Contract: in this way you make a contract with any manufacturer, you don't need to buy a car they give it to you
- Manufacturers: you need a specific cars to play this races
- Special invitation: of course you need special invitations to race here.... you are going to receive them.

Arcade mode: Quick races vs AI cars

Multiplayer mode: This is the best part of the game, and maybe why this could be the best racer game on the iPhone/iPod, there are 3 modes: Local WiFi, BT and Online.... the best og them, you can play vs other 5 player local or over the world (6 players in a single track), I tested the online mode and works fantastic with no lags and fast response.when

You can upload your races to Youtube and share them with your friends, I upload a race, like other gameloft games the first time you upload a video it takes a while to be available, but the NeXt ones are practically inmediatelly.


I'm not the best driver at the time, I need to practice more


Well... Gameloft do it again, the graphics are not the best that I have seen on the iPhone but they're really great, the sound FX and ambience are really good, game play excellent.... for me one of the best racer games on the iPhone, and could be the number one specially for the multiplayer.

I tested this game on an iPhone 3GS 32GB, whit this device I obtain an excellent performance, could be great hear other experiences with other devices.

For the moment I'm not sure with the rate of this game, but could be a 95/100

Chill out mate, Carlos meant that anybody with an iPhone or an iPod understands that everything is in the AppStore so they open the itunes and don't need to access any website or research between all the providers 'cause it's all in the same place... but thanks for worrying and yes, a buy link would complete an informative post, anyway

Could you make a muliplayer (online) game preview ????

it's very hard to use this motion controls,better wait for update maybe they will do someithing with controls...

The game looks amazing, it looks like you need to drive with the tilt controls

I don't use motion controls...... but you can configure it.... check the custom config and make your own.

About the video @n73me I can make a video form the multiplayer only if I record it with a camera, because the youtube option is not available on the multiplayer race or maybe I didn't saw it , I'm gone a check for it.

In this video there are no shadows. How is it possible?


Btw. it looks a bit weird that car going in the shadow of something looks totaly same as as the car going in the sunshine.
